“Yoga, it’s not just making shapes, it’s your toolbox for life” Lalit Kumar, my teacher.
Personally, yoga and the lifestyle it offers, has changed how I want to live my life; so as a teacher this is something that I am passionate about sharing.
My roots are traditional as I qualified as a yoga teacher at Himalaya Yoga Valley, an Ashtanga yoga school in India, however, over time, I have allowed myself to develop and express myself creatively, ever-evolving my knowledge and style which comes through as a blend of ancient and new – honouring the source and making the knowledge relatable to who we are and what we need now.
In my classes, I act as a guide, always encouraging my students to listen to themselves, motivating them to be open to the wonders that yoga has to offer us. I am passionate about yogic philosophy and anatomy, and these teachings echo through my classes with the aim for my students to better understand yoga and what it can offer them, both on and off the mat.”
