New Moon Restorative Yoga

In alignment with the New Moon phase, allow Alexa to guide you through an invariably slow, supportive and nourishing restorative practice, mirroring the moon’s soothing and grounding energy to cultivate restful ease, deep relaxation and meditative rejuvenation, as we set our intention for the next moon phase.

This New Moon yoga practice calls for you to seek ease; time for rest and introspection.

You can expect:

  • A focus on your breath throughout

  • Meditation prompts to root into body and space

  • Intention setting on what you want to invite into the next moon phase.

  • Quieting movement and supported poses to soothe the nervous system and allow muscles to relax deeply

  • Ample time in Savasana to leave feeling balanced and grounded.

    A little more about Restorative yoga: It is a healing practice of passive poses that targets the parasympathetic ‘rest and restore’ nervous system, and consciously relaxes the body to bring you into a deep state of rest. Props are used extensively to create effortless comfort and support your body, so you can hold poses for longer periods of time (up to twenty minutes).
