Explore an understanding of anatomy and learn how to make your yoga practice work for you. Ideas, modifications and variations will be explained to empower you in your own unique practice.
We will:
• Learn to create spinal strength and postural integrity.
• Work through the five different movements of the spine.
• Find equanimity in your backbends
• Practice a full vinyasa flow
• Learn modifications and variations to bring into your practice
In this two hour workshop you will gain an understanding of the workings of the spine and its different movements. This focus will be explored in poses such as Wheel & Warrior and more.
A comprehensive understanding of spinal movement will be put into practice with a full dynamic vinyasa flow. We will work with a new confidence into poses that you may have historically found challenging. A focus on spinal extension will demonstrate how to create strength and postural integrity in this region of the body and find self assurance in your backbends.
